Roy E. Smith, M.D.

Dr. Smith is Board Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine and American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Citadel and received his Medical Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston SC. Prior to joining the MCS team, Dr. Smith had been in private practice in Camden, SC; he currently resides and works in North Carolina providing detox and medical services.

Dr. Smith is currently associated with the North Carolina Society of Addiction Medicine, and is the Immediate Past President of the SC Chapter of American Society of Addiction Medicine and an Assistant Professor at USC School of Medicine at Greenville Health System. He also served in the United States Air Force as active Air Crew as a Flight Surgeon with F-16 units, and separated as a Lieutenant Colonel Select. Thank you, Dr. Smith for your service.
