Regional Development Manager
Tameka is based in Georgia and is responsible for growing MAP’s payer-driven partnerships with addiction treatment providers and other organizations primarily in the southeastern region of the United States. MAP has made significant progress contracting with health insurance plans throughout the country to deliver its tech-enabled and scalable peer recovery support services and outcomes tracking for individuals and families seeking long-term recovery from addiction.
With 18 years of clinical and counseling experience in behavioral healthcare, Tameka has worked in various capacities of behavioral health including treatment centers, business development, organizational development and has strong expertise related to addictive and co-occurring disorders.
Tameka will leverage her extensive clinical experience and relationships in the addiction treatment space to facilitate long-term strategic partnerships with both addiction treatment facilities, private practitioners, behavioral health practices and hospital systems to provide post-discharge peer recovery support to patients after they leave the acute provider’s care. Through delivery of peer recovery support services, MAP also collects and structures clinical treatment outcomes data which is being utilized by health insurance plans to inform value-based care and other alternative payment models in the addiction treatment field.
